Iran Blames US for Disrupting Pakistan-Mediated Talks

Iran has accused the United States of undermining progress in the Iran US talks Pakistan mediation process, citing what it described as repeated betrayals, policy contradictions, and excessive demands that are disrupting diplomatic efforts.

Araghchi also held talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, where he highlighted past diplomatic setbacks and alleged military actions against Iran during sensitive phases of negotiations. He said these actions have deepened mistrust between the two sides.

Guterres reiterated the importance of diplomacy and respect for international law, stressing that peaceful negotiation remains essential for maintaining regional stability and avoiding escalation.

Officials in Tehran noted that while the Iran US talks Pakistan mediation process is ongoing, significant differences remain. However, recent engagement, including visits by senior Pakistani officials, suggests that negotiations may be entering a critical phase.
