The fuel prices in Pakistan have been reduced as the impact of falling global petroleum rates begins to reflect in the domestic market. The latest adjustment includes cuts in light diesel and jet fuel prices.
According to official updates, the fuel prices in Pakistan saw a significant reduction of Rs70.04 per litre in light diesel, providing relief to transport and industrial sectors.
The fuel prices in Pakistan for jet fuel were also lowered by Rs23.59 per litre, easing operational costs for the aviation industry and related services.
After the revision, the fuel prices in Pakistan for light diesel dropped from Rs399.72 per litre to Rs299.32 per litre, marking a notable decrease in energy costs.
Similarly, jet fuel prices declined from Rs494.71 per litre to Rs471.01 per litre, reflecting downward trends in the global oil market.
Earlier, diesel prices had also been reduced by Rs32.12 per litre, continuing a pattern of adjustments based on international crude oil fluctuations.
Overall, the latest changes in fuel prices in Pakistan are expected to provide partial relief to consumers and industries dependent on transportation and energy.
