Lahore: Mohsin Naqvi has received an official invitation to attend the Indian Premier League (IPL) Final.
According to sources, the invitation received by the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board has been forwarded to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for a final decision.
Officials say that Mohsin Naqvi’s possible visit to India will depend entirely on government approval.
The IPL final is scheduled to take place on 31 May in Ahmedabad, attracting global cricket attention.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that key meetings of the International Cricket Council will also be held in two phases during the same period.
The ICC Board meeting is scheduled for 30 and 31 May in Ahmedabad, coinciding with the IPL final.
Given the current situation, it is being reported that Mohsin Naqvi’s participation in the ICC meetings in India remains uncertain, with the final decision pending at the government level.
