Speaking at a public event in Islamabad, Ata Tarar said Pakistan has earned a strong position at both diplomatic and military levels, and that people around the world take pride in their association with the country.
He contrasted Pakistan global standing Ata Tarar comments with India, claiming that Pakistan is gaining recognition internationally while India is experiencing isolation and reputational challenges in regional affairs.
The minister said Pakistan has consistently faced terrorism and has made sacrifices in the fight against extremism. He added that cross-border terrorism concerns have often gone unaddressed by the other side.
Ata Tarar also referred to past incidents involving alleged hostile activities and stressed that Pakistan has acted as a responsible state by responding to security threats and expressing concern over regional incidents.
He stated that Pakistan has played an active role in counterterrorism efforts, citing national tragedies and sacrifices made by civilians and security forces in combating militancy.
Reiterating the Pakistan global standing Ata Tarar narrative, the minister said Pakistan has emerged as a peace-oriented country on the global stage, while maintaining strong defensive readiness.
