Speaking at a public event in Islamabad, Ata Tarar said Pakistan has earned a strong position at both diplomatic and military levels, and that people around the world take pride in their association with the country.

Ata Tarar also referred to past incidents involving alleged hostile activities and stressed that Pakistan has acted as a responsible state by responding to security threats and expressing concern over regional incidents.
He stated that Pakistan has played an active role in counterterrorism efforts, citing national tragedies and sacrifices made by civilians and security forces in combating militancy.
