Russian Attack on Ukraine Kills Four in Massive Strike

A large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine has left at least four people dead and more than 30 injured, as widespread drone and missile strikes targeted multiple regions across the country during an overnight assault.

The Russian attack on Ukraine involved more than 660 drones and missiles, with the city of Dnipro in southeastern Ukraine suffering some of the heaviest damage. Residential and urban infrastructure were among the primary targets reported by local officials.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the strikes, stating that Russian forces bombarded several cities throughout the night. He urged international partners to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense systems urgently.

In Dnipro, regional authorities confirmed that at least two bodies were recovered from a destroyed building, while five people remain trapped under rubble. Officials also reported that 21 civilians were injured in the city alone.

In the northern region of Chernihiv, missile and drone strikes killed two additional people and wounded seven others. Local officials described significant destruction to residential areas and emergency response challenges due to ongoing attacks.

Ukraine’s air force reported that out of the 666 incoming aerial weapons, it successfully intercepted the majority. According to official figures, 580 drones and 30 missiles were shot down during the Russian attack on Ukraine.

Despite defensive efforts, Russia continues to carry out frequent aerial assaults, combining smaller nightly drone strikes with larger coordinated missile attacks, intensifying pressure on Ukraine’s defense infrastructure.
