Israel has once again warned that it could launch another attack on Iran if Tehran moves toward developing nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles, according to Arab media reports.
Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen made the remarks during an interview with Israeli media. He said Israel would take military action against Iran again if Tehran develops nuclear weapons or resumes efforts to build a ballistic missile capability.
Cohen also said that even if Iran reaches an agreement with the United States, Israel would still consider military action if Tehran moves toward developing nuclear weapons. He warned that any attempt by Iran to restart its nuclear program could make it a target for another Israeli strike.
The Israeli minister further claimed that Iran would have already acquired nuclear weapons if Israel had not carried out its previous military operation. According to Cohen, the US and Israeli strikes pushed Iran’s nuclear program back by an estimated two to four years.
The latest warning comes amid continued tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities. Israel has repeatedly maintained that it will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, while Tehran has consistently defended its right to pursue its nuclear activities.
According to the information cited in the report, the United States and Israel launched an attack on Iran on February 28, 2026. The strikes reportedly resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian officials and military commanders, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
