Security forces killed three terrorists, including commander Naqeeb, during a Mastung operation in Balochistan, state media reported on Monday. The operation targeted members of Fitna al Hindustan, according to security sources.
The sources said security forces used a quadcopter to target a vehicle linked to the group. The precision strike hit the vehicle during the operation in Mastung district.
According to the reported details, three terrorists were killed in the strike. Commander Naqeeb was among those killed, while the targeted vehicle was also completely destroyed during the Mastung operation.
Security sources said the forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism in the country. They added that operations against terrorist elements would continue until the threat is eliminated.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for the operation. He commended their professional capabilities and efforts in targeting the militants, including a commander.
Naqvi said the security forces had prevented the terrorists from achieving their objectives. He described the successful action as a reflection of the forces’ preparedness and determination to respond to threats from terrorist groups.
The minister also highlighted the role of security forces in maintaining peace and protecting the country. The latest Mastung operation adds to ongoing efforts against terrorist elements, while security authorities reaffirmed their commitment to continuing such operations.
