PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said the party would never politicise Barrister Gohar Imran Khan health concerns. He said progress with the government would depend on implementation of court orders.
Speaking to reporters at Parliament House, Gohar said political tactics had failed to remove anyone from politics. He added that PTI also opposed attempts to politically sideline any individual.
Responding to a question, Gohar said meaningful progress would depend on compliance with the court’s directions. He said Imran Khan’s health remained the party’s most important concern.
The PTI chairman said the party would not use medical reports concerning Imran Khan for personal interests. He also stressed that the party would follow the Supreme Court’s directions regarding the former prime minister’s treatment.
Gohar also called for Bushra Bibi’s health concerns to be addressed. He said she should receive appropriate medical facilities and argued that implementing court orders could help reduce political tensions in the country.
The PTI chairman urged the government to move towards dialogue instead of taking short-term political measures. He called for political disagreements to be addressed through talks and warned against statements that could increase tensions.
The Barrister Gohar Imran Khan remarks also covered national security. He said protecting the armed forces, police and Rangers should remain a priority for every Pakistani and condemned terrorism wherever it occurs.
