Saudi Arabia Condemns Iranian Attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait, warning that such actions could threaten regional peace and stability. The statement came amid growing tensions in the Gulf following reports of missile launches targeting the two neighboring states. The development has prompted reactions from several countries across the region.

In an official statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed full solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait. The ministry said the Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait could undermine ongoing efforts aimed at maintaining security and reducing tensions in the Middle East. Riyadh also reiterated its support for all measures designed to protect regional stability.

The ministry emphasized that any escalation could have broader implications for international security. Saudi officials urged all parties to exercise restraint and avoid actions that might worsen the situation. The kingdom stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional disputes.

Egypt also condemned the reported missile attacks and voiced support for Bahrain and Kuwait. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry described the incidents as a threat to Gulf security and called for collective efforts to prevent further instability. Cairo reaffirmed its commitment to regional peace and cooperation.

Qatar joined other Gulf nations in criticizing the attacks. According to the Qatari Foreign Ministry, the Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait represented a violation of the sovereignty of both countries. Doha emphasized the need for de-escalation and encouraged diplomatic engagement to avoid a wider crisis.

Meanwhile, Bahrain stated that seven ballistic missiles were launched and successfully intercepted before reaching their intended targets. Bahraini authorities said the defensive response prevented casualties and damage. Officials further condemned missile and drone attacks as obstacles to peace and security in the Gulf region.

The latest developments have intensified concerns about regional stability and maritime security. Bahrain also called on Iran to cooperate in ensuring safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and assist in addressing security-related challenges.
