US Iran talks Switzerland

US-Iran MoU Implementation Talks Continue in Switzerland

US Iran talks Switzerland are currently underway in the Swiss resort town of Buergenstock, where officials are discussing the implementation of a recently signed memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran, according to the Swiss Foreign Ministry.

Switzerland said it is facilitating a confidential and neutral environment for the negotiations, aimed at maintaining dialogue and trust between the parties involved. Officials have declined to disclose the identities of all participants due to the sensitive nature of the discussions.

The talks are focused on key issues including Iran’s nuclear programme, enriched uranium stockpiles, sanctions relief, and various technical and financial arrangements required for implementing the agreement.

According to officials, the negotiations are taking place within a 60-day framework designed to lay the groundwork for a longer-term and more comprehensive settlement between the two sides.

Senior US officials, including special envoy Steve Witkoff and adviser Jared Kushner, are participating in the process, with Vice President JD Vance also expected to join the discussions.

On the Iranian side, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to attend, with Tehran reportedly coordinating travel arrangements through mediating countries.

The US Iran talks Switzerland are being viewed as a significant diplomatic development, with Switzerland reaffirming its role as a neutral facilitator committed to supporting continued dialogue between the two nations.
