Iran attacks US bases

Iran Claims Missile and Drone Strikes on US Bases in Bahrain and Kuwait

Iran has claimed responsibility for missile and drone strikes targeting American military installations in Bahrain and Kuwait following recent US attacks on Iranian facilities. According to Iranian state-affiliated media outlets, the operation was carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Iranian news agencies Tasnim and Press TV reported that the IRGC announced the strikes through an official statement. The statement claimed that both the Iranian Navy and Aerospace Force jointly participated in the operation, targeting what it described as US military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait.

According to the IRGC, the attacks were launched in response to recent American military action against Iran. Iranian officials described the operation as a retaliatory measure and warned that any further military action would receive what they called a decisive response.

The IRGC statement also alleged that the US attacks violated Clause 1 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. It claimed that, as a result, all diplomatic processes covered under the agreement would be suspended until further notice.

Iran further warned that any future violations or hostile actions against the country would trigger stronger military measures. Officials emphasized that Iran would continue to defend its national interests and respond to what it considers external aggression.

At the time of publication, there has been no independent confirmation of the reported missile and drone strikes. US, Bahraini, and Kuwaiti authorities had not publicly confirmed the Iranian claims, and the situation remained fluid.
