Venezuela Earthquake: Four Survivors Rescued Alive Four Days After Deadly Disaster

Rescue teams achieved another remarkable breakthrough following the devastating Venezuela Earthquake, pulling four survivors alive from the rubble four days after the powerful tremor struck the country. Among those rescued were two 11-year-old children.

According to the latest reports, the earthquake claimed the lives of at least 1,430 people, while more than 3,360 others were injured. Authorities also reported that nearly 69,000 people remain missing as search operations continue.

Emergency workers have been carrying out round-the-clock rescue efforts in heavily damaged areas. The successful rescue of four survivors has raised hopes for families still waiting for news of their loved ones trapped beneath collapsed buildings.

Foreign media reported that the total number of people rescued alive has now reached 33. Search-and-rescue teams continue using specialized equipment and trained personnel to locate additional survivors.

Hundreds of international rescue workers and local military units remain engaged in humanitarian operations across the affected regions. The European Union has announced emergency assistance exceeding five million dollars to support relief and recovery efforts.

According to UNICEF, nearly 1.8 million people affected by the Venezuela Earthquake require urgent humanitarian assistance, including food, shelter, medical care, and clean drinking water. Pope Leo also expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and offered prayers for the speedy recovery and rehabilitation of the victims.
