aPakistan and Turkiye strengthened diplomatic coordination during the latest Pakistan Turkiye Gaza talks, expressing deep concern over Israel’s military operations in Gaza, the Occupied West Bank, and repeated violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar discussed the regional situation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during a telephone conversation on Thursday.
According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both leaders reaffirmed their unwavering support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. They stressed the importance of diplomacy and international cooperation to address the humanitarian crisis and restore stability in the occupied Palestinian territories.
During the Pakistan Turkiye Gaza talks, the two foreign ministers also reviewed Jordan’s proposal to convene a meeting of Arab and Islamic countries. The proposed gathering aims to coordinate diplomatic efforts in support of Palestine and strengthen a unified regional response to the ongoing conflict.

The discussions came as concerns continued to grow over reported violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and the expansion of Israeli settlements in the Occupied West Bank. Several Arab and Palestinian organisations have also called for urgent international action, warning that recent developments could further destabilise the region.
Pakistan has maintained regular diplomatic engagement with regional partners on the issue. A day earlier, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held similar consultations with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, with both sides calling for an immediate ceasefire, unhindered humanitarian assistance, and renewed diplomatic initiatives.
Meanwhile, reports from Gaza said fresh Israeli attacks resulted in civilian casualties in different parts of the territory. Medical sources reported deaths and injuries following drone strikes and artillery shelling, while military operations also continued in parts of the Occupied West Bank amid rising tensions.
The Pakistan Turkiye Gaza talks reflect Islamabad and Ankara’s continued commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts for peace, protecting civilian lives, and advocating for humanitarian relief. Both countries emphasised that coordinated regional engagement remains essential for reducing tensions and advancing a peaceful resolution.
