PBG, Founders Group, LBF & Nasir Hameed Khan Group Announce Alliance for Lahore Chamber Elections

Lahore: Four prominent business groups—Pioneers Businessmen Group (PBG), Founders Group, Lahore Businessmen Front (LBF), and the Nasir Hameed Khan Group—have officially announced a united alliance to contest the upcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections.

The announcement was made during a joint press conference, where the leaders emphasized that the alliance has been established to safeguard the collective interests of the business community and restore the chamber’s influential role.

Speaking at the event, Alliance Chairman Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Founders Group Chairman Sheikh Ibrahim, PBG Chairman Ali Hussam Asghar, Lahore Businessmen Front Chairman Chaudhry Amjad, and Nasir Hameed Khan stated that the partnership represents a shared commitment to strengthening the voice of traders and industrialists. They stressed that the alliance is focused on serving the broader business community rather than advancing the interests of any individual or group.

The leaders described the Lahore Chamber Elections Alliance as a combination of experienced leadership and youthful vision. They said the business community requires a strong, united, and credible leadership capable of effectively representing the concerns of traders, manufacturers, exporters, importers, and entrepreneurs before government institutions and policymakers.

According to the alliance, the Lahore Chamber once played a significant role as a powerful advocate for Pakistan’s business sector. However, they noted that its influence has declined in recent years. The alliance aims to revive the chamber’s credibility, strengthen its institutional role, and re-establish it as a respected platform for business advocacy at both provincial and national levels.

The leaders pledged that, if elected, they would prioritize transparency, merit, accountability, institutional stability, and consultation in the chamber’s affairs. They also promised equal representation for all members while ensuring that the chamber’s policies and initiatives remain aligned with the evolving needs of the business community.

Addressing economic challenges, the alliance highlighted the importance of supporting industrialists, exporters, importers, SMEs, women entrepreneurs, and young business leaders. They reaffirmed their commitment to working with government authorities on business-friendly policies, tax reforms, export promotion, investment growth, and measures aimed at improving Pakistan’s economic environment.

Concluding the press conference, the alliance leaders appealed to all members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support the joint platform. They expressed confidence that the combination of experience, integrity, consultation, and fresh leadership would help transform the chamber into a stronger, more effective institution that genuinely represents the interests of the country’s business community.
