Rana Sanaullah Says PML-N Has Won Azad Kashmir Mandate

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has said the people of Azad Kashmir have given his party their mandate. He said it is now time to fulfil promises made to voters.

Addressing an election rally in Haveli, Rana Sanaullah said PML-N had secured 24 seats in the Azad Kashmir elections. He noted that 23 seats are enough to form a government in the region.

The prime minister’s adviser for political affairs said the people of Azad Kashmir had made their decision through the election. Rana Sanaullah claimed voters had placed their trust in commitments made by PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.

He also described the Azad Kashmir elections as free and transparent. According to Rana Sanaullah, the election process provided voters with an opportunity to express their political choice.

The PML-N leader said development in Azad Kashmir progressed when the party held governments in both Pakistan and the region. He pledged that his party would seek to establish new examples of development across Azad Kashmir.

Rana Sanaullah said development projects similar to those launched in Punjab would also be introduced in Azad Kashmir. He said the government would focus on fulfilling commitments made to the people and advancing development in the region.

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam also addressed the gathering. He said people living along the Line of Control are a source of pride for Pakistan and have made significant sacrifices for the country’s defence.
