Civil Awards Approved for 78 Martyrs and Gallantry Heroes

ISLAMABAD: A special committee has approved Civil Awards for 78 individuals, including martyrs and those who demonstrated exceptional courage and bravery in the line of duty. The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

The meeting of the special committee on gallantry awards was attended by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary Interior and other senior officials. The committee reviewed recommendations concerning individuals who had demonstrated remarkable courage and made significant sacrifices for the country.

During the meeting, the committee approved Civil Awards for 78 people in recognition of their sacrifices, bravery and services. The awards are intended to acknowledge individuals who displayed exceptional courage and contributed to the protection and security of the country.

Speaking at the meeting, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that encouraging those who sacrificed their lives for the country and those who demonstrated extraordinary courage was a national responsibility. He emphasized the importance of formally recognizing the sacrifices and services of such individuals.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the nation remains indebted to the martyrs and veterans for their unforgettable sacrifices. He noted that their courage and dedication represent a lasting example of commitment to the country and its people.

The interior minister further stated that the sacrifices of martyrs and gallantry heroes are a valuable national asset. He stressed that their contributions should be remembered and honored as an important part of the country’s national heritage.
