PM Shehbaz Sharif Meets Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh on an important official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation. During the visit, he held a key meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The two leaders discussed pressing issues including the recent tensions in the Middle East, bilateral relations, and opportunities for increased investment cooperation. Regional peace and stability were also central to the discussions.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The meeting highlighted mutual trust and strategic partnership.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar was also present during the meeting. His participation underscored the importance of diplomatic coordination between the two nations.

Speaking about the visit, Ishaq Dar stated that Saudi Arabia holds a special place in the hearts of the Pakistani people. He emphasized that the meeting reflects a shared vision for a stronger partnership.

He further added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed deep-rooted ties based on faith, trust, and mutual respect. Both sides explored new avenues to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

Earlier, upon arrival, the Saudi Crown Prince warmly welcomed the Prime Minister. Following his Saudi visit, Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to travel to Qatar and Türkiye, where he will attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum and meet global leaders, including the Turkish president.
