Iran Pakistan peace talks

Iranian FM Araghchi to Visit Pakistan for Peace Talks

Iran Pakistan peace talks are expected to gain momentum as Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi prepares to arrive in Islamabad late Friday night with a small delegation for high-level diplomatic discussions.

According to state media reports, the visit is part of ongoing efforts aimed at facilitating Iran Pakistan peace talks, with Pakistan acting as a mediator between Tehran and Washington to reduce rising regional tensions.

Officials said that Araghchi will first hold meetings with Pakistan’s leadership and mediation team before any possible indirect or direct engagement linked to the broader Iran–US dialogue process.

The development comes as Islamabad continues to position itself as a diplomatic facilitator, encouraging both sides to prioritize dialogue over military escalation in the wider regional conflict landscape.

Sources also confirmed that preparations for Iran Pakistan peace talks include the presence of a US logistics and security team in Islamabad to support the coordination of the negotiations.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a phone call with Araghchi, where they discussed the evolving regional situation and efforts to promote sustained diplomatic engagement.

Pakistan has repeatedly emphasized that Iran Pakistan peace talks and continued dialogue are essential to preventing further escalation, stressing that diplomacy remains the only viable path forward for regional stability.
