Abbas Araghchi Pakistan visit

Iranian Delegation to Leave Islamabad After High-Level Talks

The Abbas Araghchi Pakistan visit is set to conclude today as the Iranian Foreign Minister is expected to leave Islamabad shortly after completing high-level diplomatic meetings. The visit was primarily focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran.

According to diplomatic sources, the Iranian delegation has no plans for an extended stay in Islamabad. After meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to depart the country the same day.

Officials confirmed that the Iranian delegation will continue its regional tour, with planned visits to Oman and Russia following the Pakistan leg of the trip. The visit is part of ongoing diplomatic engagement between regional powers.

Iran’s National Security Council representative Ebrahim Azizi stated that discussions during the Abbas Araghchi Pakistan visit were strictly limited to bilateral relations. He emphasized that no nuclear-related issues were discussed during the meetings.

The official further clarified that Iran considers its nuclear program a “red line,” and it will not be part of any negotiations during this visit. This statement reflects Tehran’s firm stance on the issue amid ongoing regional tensions.

The Iranian delegation arrived in Islamabad earlier this week, where initial diplomatic engagements were held. The visit comes at a time when regional geopolitical developments are closely being monitored by global powers.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that US representatives are also expected to travel for parallel discussions, highlighting the increasing diplomatic activity in the region surrounding Iran-related negotiations.
