Gold Price in Pakistan Drops by Rs5,500 Per Tola

The gold price in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Wednesday, reflecting a downward trend in the global bullion market. According to the latest market data, the price per tola dropped by Rs5,500, bringing it down to Rs479,562. This decrease has drawn attention from investors and traders monitoring precious metal trends closely.

In the local bullion market, the reduction was also seen in smaller units. The price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs4,715, settling at Rs411,147. Market analysts suggest that the decline is directly linked to international price movements, which continue to influence domestic rates in Pakistan.

The gold price in Pakistan has been volatile over the past few days. Just a day earlier, the per tola rate had already dropped by Rs8,900, closing at Rs485,062. This ongoing fluctuation indicates uncertainty in both local and international markets.

Globally, gold prices also experienced a notable decrease. The international rate fell by $55 per ounce, bringing it down to $4,572. This figure includes a premium of $20, which is typically added to reflect additional costs in international trading.

Experts believe that the decline in global prices is driven by shifting economic conditions, including currency fluctuations and changes in investor sentiment. As a result, the gold price in Pakistan continues to mirror these global patterns, making it sensitive to external market forces.

Meanwhile, silver prices also followed a downward trend. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs45, reaching Rs7,766. This parallel decline in both gold and silver suggests a broader trend in the precious metals market.

Market observers advise investors to stay cautious as fluctuations may continue in the coming days. With the gold price in Pakistan closely tied to international developments, further changes are expected depending on global economic signals and demand patterns.
