PML-N Senator Rana Sanaullah claims Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are getting proper treatment, while opposition demands access and transparency.
Speaking during a Senate session, Rana Sanaullah said discussions were held regarding Imran Khan’s health and meetings with him.
He added that the law does not allow such meetings to be used for political purposes, emphasizing that actions are judged differently depending on their outcomes.
The PML-N senator also criticized a political party for repeatedly targeting the federation, stating that such behavior does not lead to improvement and alleging the promotion of an anti-state narrative.
Meanwhile, in the National Assembly, Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai questioned the government about when access would be granted to meet Imran Khan and when he would be shifted to a hospital of his choice.
Separately, Barrister Gohar of PTI expressed full support for the opposition leader’s demands.
He stated that despite approaching courts multiple times, including the Supreme Court and High Court, no relief had been granted, and access to Imran Khan remains restricted.
The issue continues to highlight tensions between the government and opposition over transparency and legal access.
