Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has undergone his Imran Khan eye treatment at PIMS for the fourth time, where he received a follow-up intravitreal injection as part of ongoing medical care, according to hospital officials.

The procedure was carried out at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad, where doctors confirmed that the PTI founder was brought in for a scheduled check-up and treatment related to his eye condition.

During the Imran Khan eye treatment at PIMS, medical staff reported that he was clinically stable before the procedure. Detailed eye scans were conducted, which showed signs of improvement in his condition.

Doctors administered a fourth intravitreal anti-VEGF injection under strict medical supervision. The procedure was performed as a day-care surgery, following all standard safety protocols in the operating theatre.

Hospital authorities stated that Imran Khan remained stable throughout the treatment process. After the Imran Khan eye treatment at PIMS, he was discharged the same day with further medical advice and follow-up instructions.

Imran Khan has been receiving treatment for central retinal vein occlusion, a condition affecting his right eye. His previous injections were administered in January, February, and March as part of a continuing treatment plan.

Meanwhile, political discussions continue regarding his medical care and access to personal physicians. His party has repeatedly demanded improved medical facilities and independent treatment arrangements while he remains in custody.
