Iran Announces ‘Operation Nasr’ Against Israel

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of a military campaign against Israel, naming it “Operation Nasr.” Iranian officials stated that the operation was initiated in response to recent Israeli attacks and that all military units have been placed on high alert.

According to an IRGC spokesperson, the operation was launched under the code name “Ya Haider Karrar.” The spokesperson said Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to carry out large-scale retaliatory actions across multiple fronts and have activated all necessary military capabilities.

Iranian authorities claimed that the operation targeted Israel’s strategic air bases at Nevatim and Tel Nof. The IRGC described the strikes as a direct response to missile attacks allegedly carried out by Israel against Iranian interests.

The spokesperson also warned that Israel should halt its military actions in Lebanon, stating that any further aggression would be met with a stronger response. Iranian officials further claimed that American and Israeli targets in the region could be considered potential targets if hostilities continue.

Iranian media reported that air defense systems were activated in the western city of Kermanshah following Israeli attacks. Authorities said defensive measures were being taken to intercept potential threats, while all flights at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport were reportedly suspended as a precaution.

Head of Iran’s National Security Committee, Ibrahim Azizi, stated that recent developments in Palestine and Lebanon demonstrate that Israel is unwilling to pursue peace. He added that resistance groups in the region are prepared to respond to what he described as continued aggression.

Meanwhile, Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, said Iran had previously warned against attacks on Lebanon. He described the latest operation as a response to hostile actions and emphasized that Iran would continue to defend its national and regional interests.
