Iranian President Shares Photo of 4,500-Year-Old Tree

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has attracted attention on social media after sharing a photo of a 4,500-year-old tree located in Iran. The post is being widely viewed as a symbolic message highlighting the country’s ancient civilization and historical identity.

The Iranian president shared the image on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote that the “Cypress” tree is around 4,500 years old and is considered one of the oldest living organisms in Asia.

Masoud Pezeshkian further stated that the tree has existed on the same land that was known as Iran thousands of years ago. His remarks were interpreted by many as emphasizing the deep historical roots and cultural continuity of the Iranian nation.

Although the Iranian president did not mention anyone directly, social media users linked the post to previous statements made by Donald Trump regarding Iran. Some users suggested the post indirectly responded to threats against Iran’s civilization and heritage.

The discussion also reminded many users of a past visit by Donald Trump to China, where Xi Jinping showed him a rare and historic imperial garden featuring centuries-old trees.

During that visit, the Chinese president reportedly explained that some trees in the garden were over 1,000 years old. Trump had praised the site and said he greatly admired the atmosphere and historical beauty of the location.

Following President Pezeshkian’s recent post, social media platforms were filled with reactions and commentary. Many users described the image as a powerful symbol of Iran’s ancient history, resilience, and enduring cultural identity.
