Spain Rejects Participation in Any US-Israel Military Action Against Iran

Spain has firmly ruled out taking part in any military action against Iran alongside the United States and Israel, reaffirming its commitment to diplomacy and international law. The statement was made by Spain’s Foreign Minister during an interview with a British publication amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Speaking about the escalating regional situation, José Manuel Albares said Spain would not support or participate in any operation that could further increase tensions. He emphasized that military escalation would not provide a sustainable solution to the crisis.

The minister stressed that the Spain Iran conflict position is based on dialogue and diplomatic engagement rather than military intervention. According to him, long-term stability can only be achieved through negotiations and respect for international agreements.

Albares argued that the current global challenge is not merely a geopolitical dispute but a broader struggle between adherence to international law and the risk of instability driven by unilateral actions. He warned against policies that could lead to greater uncertainty and conflict.

Spain has consistently advocated peaceful solutions to international disputes and has often supported multilateral diplomatic efforts. The government believes that preventing further escalation in the Middle East remains essential for regional and global security.

The remarks come as international attention remains focused on the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Several countries have called for restraint and renewed diplomatic initiatives to prevent the crisis from expanding across the region.

Spain’s position on the Spain Iran conflict reflects its broader foreign policy approach, which prioritizes diplomacy, international cooperation, and conflict resolution through legal and political mechanisms rather than military action.
