Pakistan’s Hajj 2027 registration campaign has received an overwhelming response, with more than 51,000 applications submitted within the first two days of the online registration process. The Ministry of Religious Affairs described the turnout as a strong indication of public interest in the upcoming pilgrimage.
According to ministry officials, over 46,000 applicants completed their registration through the online portal, while around 5,000 individuals used the Pak Hajj mobile application. The digital registration system allows prospective pilgrims to complete the process from home without visiting government offices.
Data released by the ministry shows that approximately 41,000 applicants opted for the government Hajj scheme, while 10,000 selected the private Hajj scheme. The figures highlight continued confidence in both options among intending pilgrims across the country.
Provincial statistics reveal that Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations with around 24,000 applicants. Sindh followed with 16,000 registrations, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa contributed 7,000 applications and Islamabad accounted for nearly 3,000 registrations.
The ministry further reported that 800 applications were received from Balochistan, 260 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 77 from Gilgit-Baltistan. Among the registered applicants, around 30,000 were men and 21,000 were women, with the largest age group falling between 30 and 48 years.
Officials stated that the Hajj 2027 registration process is part of a broader initiative to modernize pilgrimage services. With the support of the National Information Technology Board, the Hajj operation is being transformed into a fully paperless and end-to-end digital system aimed at improving transparency and convenience.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged aspiring pilgrims to complete their Hajj 2027 registration within the prescribed timeframe. Details regarding Hajj expenses, packages, and additional arrangements will be announced in the next phase of the process.
