Pakistan Hajj Return Flights to Begin from May 31

The Pakistan Hajj Return Flights operation will officially begin on May 31 as thousands of Pakistani pilgrims prepare to return home from Saudi Arabia after completing their Hajj pilgrimage. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has finalized arrangements for the large-scale repatriation process.

According to ministry officials, the first return flight will depart from Jeddah on the night of May 31 and arrive in Sialkot. A total of 391 pilgrims are expected to travel on the inaugural flight, marking the start of the nationwide post-Hajj operation.

The Pakistan Hajj Return Flights schedule indicates that most arrivals will take place on June 1 according to Pakistan Standard Time. Authorities have coordinated with airlines and airport officials to ensure smooth handling of pilgrims arriving across the country.

On June 1 alone, 22 flights carrying 5,237 pilgrims are expected to land at various airports. Islamabad will receive five flights, while Karachi and Lahore will each welcome four. Multan and Sialkot are scheduled to receive three flights each, Faisalabad two, and Quetta one.

Officials stated that special arrangements have been made to facilitate returning pilgrims. Airport staff, transport services, and relevant departments have been instructed to ensure efficient processing and comfortable arrivals throughout the operation.

The ministry further announced that flights from Madinah will commence on June 3. The Pakistan Hajj Return Flights operation will continue throughout the month, transporting pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a total of 119,000 pilgrims will be brought back through 471 flights. The final flight of the operation is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on June 30, bringing the month-long repatriation process to a successful conclusion.
