PMDC Announces MDCAT 2026 Schedule for Medical Admissions

The MDCAT 2026 Schedule has officially been announced by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), setting key dates for students seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programs across the country.

According to PMDC, the MDCAT 2026 entry test will be held on August 16 at 10:00 AM simultaneously across all test centres in Pakistan. The announcement provides a clear timeline for thousands of aspiring medical students preparing for admissions.

To manage the examination process, different universities have been assigned responsibilities in each province. The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore will conduct the test in Punjab, while Sukkur IBA University will handle arrangements in Sindh.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the responsibility has been given to Khyber Medical University, whereas Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences Quetta will oversee the exam in Balochistan. For Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, the task has been assigned to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University.

PMDC also confirmed arrangements for overseas candidates, stating that the Riyadh test centre will also operate under the supervision of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad, ensuring participation of international applicants.

Online registration for MDCAT 2026 Schedule will begin on June 22, 2026. The regular registration deadline is July 8, while late registration will be accepted until July 13 with an increased fee structure.

PMDC has set the registration fee at Rs9,000 for local candidates, while late registration will cost Rs13,000. For international centres, the fee has been fixed at Rs45,000, with a late fee of Rs55,000. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, and candidates are advised to complete registration within the given deadlines.
