Gold Price Drops by Rs600 per Tola in Pakistan

The gold price in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Saturday as local rates moved in line with a drop in the international market. The decrease comes after recent volatility in global precious metal prices.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs600, bringing it down to Rs476,262 in the local market.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs515 and settled at Rs408,317, reflecting weaker demand and international pressure on bullion markets.

The gold price in Pakistan trend has been closely linked with global movements, where international gold rates also saw a slight fall during the day.

In the global market, gold dropped by $6 per ounce, reaching $4,539, including a premium of $20. Analysts say minor corrections in the US dollar and investor sentiment contributed to the decline.

Meanwhile, silver prices also followed the downward trend, decreasing by Rs159 per tola and settling at Rs8,073 in the local market.

Experts suggest that the gold price in Pakistan may continue to fluctuate depending on international economic conditions and currency exchange stability in the coming days.
