Lebanon ceasefire

Lebanon Ceasefire Supported by PM Shehbaz Sharif

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the Lebanon ceasefire, describing it as a significant step toward regional peace. The Lebanon ceasefire comes after rising tensions in the Middle East and is being seen as a hopeful development for stability.

In his official statement, the prime minister emphasized that Pakistan will continue to support Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He reiterated that peaceful solutions are essential to resolving conflicts in the region.

The Lebanon ceasefire was reportedly made possible through diplomatic efforts led by former US President Donald Trump. According to statements, negotiations played a key role in bringing the involved parties toward agreement.

The ceasefire agreement follows a similar development in Iran, where tensions had also de-escalated. Soon after, both Lebanon and Israel agreed to a 10-day ceasefire arrangement to prevent further escalation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed optimism that the Lebanon ceasefire would pave the way for long-term peace. He stressed the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement to avoid future conflicts.

He also stated that Pakistan supports all political and diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring lasting peace in the Middle East. According to him, dialogue remains the most effective way to resolve disputes.

Overall, the Lebanon ceasefire is being viewed as a positive breakthrough in a volatile region. Global leaders, including Pakistan, hope that this development will lead to stability and reduce tensions in the coming days.
