Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement in the Middle East has received international recognition as the European Union and Canada praised its role in facilitating Pakistan US Iran peace efforts during recent high-level discussions.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas held a telephone call with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and appreciated Islamabad’s constructive role in promoting dialogue between Washington and Tehran. The Pakistan US Iran peace efforts were highlighted as a key contribution to regional stability.
Kallas emphasized the importance of continued diplomacy and constructive engagement to resolve ongoing tensions. Both sides agreed to maintain close communication and further strengthen cooperation, reinforcing support for Pakistan US Iran peace efforts.
In a separate call, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand also acknowledged Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran. She appreciated Islamabad’s efforts in promoting diplomatic engagement and conflict resolution.
During the discussion, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting peaceful negotiations and stressed the importance of maintaining ceasefire arrangements. This commitment further strengthens Pakistan US Iran peace efforts on the global stage.
Both Canada and the European Union agreed to stay in close contact with Pakistan on matters of mutual interest, signaling continued diplomatic coordination and trust in Islamabad’s mediation role.
