Iran Reports 38 Dead, Over 400 Injured in US Strikes

Iran’s Health Ministry says Iran US strikes since June 22 have killed at least 38 people and injured more than 400, following the resumption of hostilities between Tehran and Washington. The figures were announced by the ministry on Friday, highlighting the growing humanitarian impact of the conflict.

Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour said the number of people wounded in the attacks has exceeded 400, while the death toll has reached 38. He shared the updated figures in a statement posted on the social media platform X.

According to the ministry, the casualties include women and children. Officials said 22 women were among those injured, while three women were killed. The ministry also reported that nine people under the age of 18 were injured and one child was among those killed.

The latest figures come as military tensions between Iran and the United States continue following the renewed fighting that began on June 22. Both sides have exchanged accusations over recent attacks, while the broader regional security situation remains highly volatile.

Iranian authorities have continued to provide updates on the human toll caused by the conflict, saying hospitals and emergency services remain under pressure as they respond to casualties from the ongoing strikes. No independent verification of the casualty figures was immediately available.

The renewed confrontation has raised international concerns about the risk of further escalation across the Middle East. Several countries and international organizations have repeatedly called for restraint and renewed diplomatic efforts to prevent a wider regional conflict.

The humanitarian impact of the fighting continues to grow as civilians remain affected by the violence. Global attention remains focused on developments between Iran and the United States, with observers closely monitoring both military activity and diplomatic efforts.
