ISLAMABAD: The opposition leader is ready to visit the Prime Minister’s House to discuss ways to address Pakistan’s ongoing crises, according to opposition alliance spokesperson Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai.
Yousafzai said the opposition was willing to engage in dialogue with the government to help overcome the challenges facing the country. His remarks highlighted the opposition’s stated readiness to pursue political engagement amid the current situation.
The spokesperson also criticized Information Minister Attaullah Tarar over his comments regarding negotiations between the government and the opposition. He alleged that the minister was not fully aware of the fundamental points under discussion between the two sides.
Yousafzai advised Tarar to consult senior government figures Rana Sanaullah and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry before commenting publicly on the negotiations. He suggested that better coordination within the government was necessary to ensure accurate communication about the dialogue process.
The opposition alliance’s statement comes amid continuing political challenges in Pakistan, where cooperation between the government and opposition remains an important issue. Dialogue between political stakeholders could provide an opportunity to discuss disagreements and explore possible solutions to national problems.
Reiterating his position, Yousafzai said the opposition leader was prepared to visit the Prime Minister’s House if it could help the country move toward stability. The statement indicated a willingness to consider direct engagement at the highest political level.
