Türkiye Sudan relations moved forward on Tuesday as Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met his Sudanese counterpart Muhyiddin Salim in Ankara. The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in diplomatic training between the two countries.
According to Turkish diplomatic sources, the agreement was signed between the Diplomacy Academy of Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry and the Diplomatic Institute of Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign and International Cooperation. The initiative is intended to enhance professional collaboration and capacity-building for diplomats.
The meeting reflects the two countries’ continued efforts to expand bilateral cooperation through institutional partnerships. Diplomatic training and the exchange of expertise are expected to contribute to stronger communication and closer coordination on issues of mutual interest.
