The Pakistan Uzbekistan relations received fresh momentum on Saturday as Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in regional mediation efforts during a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both leaders exchanged views on bilateral cooperation as well as regional and multilateral developments of mutual interest.
The Pakistan Uzbekistan relations were highlighted during discussions in which Bakhtiyor Saidov praised Pakistan’s efforts in promoting peace and stability across the Middle East and wider region.

Both sides also reviewed progress in economic, trade, and investment cooperation, building on recent agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries.
The leaders agreed to remain in close contact to further strengthen diplomatic coordination and enhance collaboration in key sectors including trade, energy, and defence.
The Pakistan Uzbekistan relations have expanded in recent years, with both countries setting ambitious targets to increase bilateral trade and improve regional connectivity under various economic agreements.
Officials said the conversation reflects growing diplomatic engagement and shared commitment to regional peace and economic development.
