Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi has called US President Donald Trump a “big liar” over his statements about Iran’s nuclear programme and other issues. His remarks come amid continued tensions between Washington and Tehran.
Mohebbi said the American people need to be told what he described as the truth about the situation. He also claimed that the United States had failed in its military campaign against Iran.
The IRGC spokesperson further called on the United States to leave the region. His comments reflect Tehran’s continued opposition to American military involvement and its criticism of US policies toward Iran.
