Trump Signals Possible Iran-US Peace Deal as War Nears End

The possibility of an Iran US Peace Deal has gained global attention after US President Donald Trump suggested that the ongoing war between Iran and Israel could end soon. His remarks came as Iran reviewed a US-backed peace proposal aimed at formally concluding the conflict.

According to diplomatic sources, the proposed framework of the Iran US Peace Deal would end active hostilities while leaving several major issues unresolved, including Iran’s nuclear programme and access to the Strait of Hormuz. The war, which began on February 28, has significantly disrupted regional stability and global energy supplies.

President Trump told reporters that negotiations had shown progress over the past 24 hours and expressed optimism about a quick resolution. He said both sides were showing willingness to reach an agreement, although previous attempts at peace talks have failed to produce results.

Iranian officials, however, responded cautiously to the proposal. A spokesperson from Iran’s foreign ministry confirmed that Tehran would submit its formal response soon. Meanwhile, an Iranian parliament representative described the offer as closer to a “wish-list” rather than a practical agreement, reflecting deep skepticism within Tehran.

The Iran US Peace Deal discussions reportedly include a preliminary memorandum that could lead to further negotiations. If accepted, the plan may open pathways for lifting US sanctions, restoring shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, and imposing limits on Iran’s nuclear activities over a 30-day negotiation period.

Market reactions were immediate, as hopes of de-escalation pushed global oil prices downward and boosted international stock markets. Brent crude saw sharp fluctuations, reflecting investor optimism that the conflict may soon be resolved and energy routes restored.

Despite diplomatic movement, key disagreements remain unresolved. Issues such as Iran’s missile programme, regional alliances, and existing uranium stockpiles continue to block a comprehensive agreement. Analysts say that while the Iran US Peace Deal discussions are significant, a final settlement remains uncertain.
