England Win Toss and Elect to Bowl Against Pakistan in tri-nation ODI series

RAWALPINDI: England have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan in the second match of the ongoing tri-nation ODI series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England. The match is being played in Rawalpindi, with Pakistan set to bat first.

Speaking after the toss, Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi said his team would aim to post a big total against England. He noted that Pakistan had batted first in their previous match and would look to deliver another strong batting performance in the latest fixture.

Afridi also confirmed that Pakistan have made no changes to their playing XI for the second ODI. The team will therefore take the field with the same combination that featured in their opening match of the tournament.

Pakistan began their tri-series campaign with a 37-run victory over Sri Lanka in the first ODI. The win gave the hosts a positive start, and they will now aim to carry that momentum into their contest against England.

England’s decision to bowl first gives their bowling attack an early opportunity to put pressure on Pakistan’s batting lineup. The visitors will look to take wickets during the opening overs and prevent the hosts from building a substantial total.
