According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, the exemption applies immediately and covers all major commercial activities across the country. The move aims to facilitate citizens during the busy festive season and support increased economic activity.

The relaxation follows similar steps taken by provincial governments in Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, which had already removed fixed closing timings for businesses. This coordinated approach ensures smooth commercial operations nationwide.
