Pakistan’s Minister of State and Chairman of the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, Bilal bin Saqib, represented the country at the forum and delivered a keynote address highlighting Pakistan’s vision for drones, blockchain integration, and digital asset regulation.
During his speech at the World Drone Congress 2026 Pakistan, Bilal bin Saqib thanked the organizers for selecting Pakistan as the Country of Honor, calling it a reflection of global confidence in Pakistan’s emerging technological capabilities.
He emphasized that the combination of drone technology, digitalization, and blockchain is reshaping logistics and supply chain systems worldwide, making operations more secure, transparent, and efficient.
He further noted that integrating drones and blockchain can open new opportunities for smart cities, industrial monitoring, and emergency response systems, while Pakistan continues to support institutional frameworks for technological growth.
Officials highlighted that the congress is playing a key role in promoting global cooperation in drone innovation and digital assets, encouraging regulatory alignment and industrial development across countries.
Pakistan also reiterated its commitment to advancing its digital economy and attracting international investment in the drone and emerging technology sectors.
