The gold price in Pakistan increased by Rs1,200 per tola on Monday, following a rise in the international gold market.
The price of gold reached Rs437,536 per tola after the latest increase. The precious metal has continued to see notable movements in the local market.
The price of 10-gram gold also increased during the day. It rose by Rs1,029 to reach Rs375,116 in the local market.
The latest increase came after gold prices declined during the previous trading session. On Saturday, the price per tola stood at Rs436,336 after falling by Rs4,300.
International gold prices also moved higher on Monday. The global rate increased by $12 to reach $4,150 per ounce.
Silver prices recorded another increase in the local market. The price of silver rose by Rs66 to reach Rs6,588 per tola.
The latest silver price marks a new all-time high. Meanwhile, the rise in international gold prices supported the increase in gold prices across Pakistan.
