TV host Mathira Says Society Has Turned Men Into ‘Machines’

Pakistani television host and media personality Mathira has shared her views on the challenges faced by men in society, saying that many are expected to carry heavy responsibilities without being allowed to express their emotions. Her remarks came during a recent interview in which she discussed relationships, social expectations, and mental health.

Speaking during the interview, Mathira argued that men often face unfair treatment in society. She said that public reactions frequently favor assumptions over facts, adding that in certain situations people are quick to judge men without first understanding what actually happened.

Mathira also expressed concern over the emotional pressure placed on men. According to her, many boys grow up being taught to suppress their feelings instead of expressing them openly, which can have long-term effects on their emotional well-being.

She stated that society has effectively turned men into “machines” by expecting them to shoulder financial and family responsibilities without acknowledging their emotional needs. As a result, she believes many struggle to maintain a healthy balance between work, family, and personal life.

The television host added that constant pressure can affect a man’s ability to become a supportive father, caring husband, or dependable brother. She suggested that emotional exhaustion often leads to misunderstandings within families and relationships.

Mathira further highlighted the issue of men’s mental health, saying that many suffer from depression but hesitate to seek help because they fear being judged. She noted that social expectations often discourage men from openly discussing their emotional struggles, even with close friends.

Her comments have sparked discussion on social media, with many users agreeing that mental health challenges affect both men and women and that emotional well-being should be openly discussed without stigma.
