Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) series between Pakistan and Australia. The much-anticipated series will mark Australia’s return to Pakistan for an ODI contest after several years.
According to the PCB, the Australian cricket team will arrive in Islamabad on May 23 ahead of the series. The tour is expected to attract major attention from cricket fans as both teams prepare for another competitive bilateral showdown.
The first ODI match between Pakistan and Australia will be played on May 30 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The remaining two matches of the series are scheduled to take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on June 2 and June 4.
PCB officials confirmed that all three ODI matches will begin at 4:30 PM local time. The board is also expected to release ticketing details and security arrangements closer to the start of the series.
This will be Australia’s first ODI series in Pakistan since their historic tour during March and April 2022. That series played an important role in restoring international cricket activities in Pakistan and received positive feedback from players and fans alike.
