More than nine terrorists were reportedly killed during security operations in different areas of Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. According to security sources, intelligence-based operations were conducted in Ziarat, Harnai and Surab following information about the presence and movement of suspected terrorists.
Security sources said a major intelligence-based operation was carried out in the mountainous area between Ziarat and Harnai after receiving a tip-off about terrorist activity. Security forces surrounded a suspected terrorist hideout and launched an operation against the militants.
According to the sources, eight terrorists were killed during the operation between Ziarat and Harnai. Several terrorist hideouts were also destroyed during the action. The operation was conducted on the basis of intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the mountainous terrain.
A separate operation was also conducted in Surab district after security forces detected the movement of suspected terrorists between Dasht Katai and Hajika. Forces tracked the suspects and launched an operation in Hajika village following the intelligence information.
Security sources said the operation in Hajika was successful, resulting in the killing of one terrorist. Following the operation, security personnel conducted further searches in the area to assess the security situation and check for any remaining militant presence.
According to security sources, ammunition, magazines, hand grenades, a walkie-talkie, a motorcycle and other equipment were recovered from the killed terrorists. The recovered material has been taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation into terrorist activities in the area.
