Pakistan, Türkiye Call Diplomacy Only Path to Peace

Pakistan and Türkiye have stressed that diplomacy and dialogue are the only effective ways to address regional challenges and achieve lasting peace. The Pakistan Türkiye diplomacy position was discussed during a phone call between their foreign ministers.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan by telephone on Sunday night. The two ministers reviewed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on the challenges facing the region.

According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson, the discussion covered the evolving regional situation. Both ministers assessed developments of mutual concern and discussed the need for continued diplomatic engagement to address emerging challenges.

The two foreign ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation on matters of mutual interest. They also agreed to maintain close coordination as the regional situation continues to develop.

During the conversation, Pakistan and Türkiye agreed that diplomacy and dialogue remain the most effective means of addressing current challenges. The Pakistan Türkiye diplomacy approach places negotiations at the centre of efforts to achieve sustainable peace.
