Field Marshal Asim Munir Hosts Independence Day Reception for Army Veterans

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir hosted a reception on Independence Day in honour of Pakistan Army veterans. The event brought together former army chiefs along with a large number of retired military officers and soldiers.

According to reports citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the reception was held to recognise the contributions of former military personnel to Pakistan’s defence and national service. Field Marshal Asim Munir paid tribute to veterans for their dedication and acknowledged their role in strengthening the country’s resilience.
